Frederick’s Upledger Institute profile

woman receiving craniosacral therapy

CST is a highly effective adjunctive treatment for many health conditions because it encourages the body’s own self-healing energies. It is particularly helpful with neck and back pain, headache, stress, fatigue, TMJ issues, fibromyalgia, and orthopedic problems. CST sessions are a wonderful way to maintain your health and vitality even if you are symptom-free!

The treatment is done over clothing while you recline on a comfortably padded massage table. The pressure used is generally not more than five grams (the weight of a nickel). Gentle techniques are applied to the whole body and bring about a state of deep calm and relaxation. When working with the head, these subtle maneuvers can release restrictions deep within the surrounding membranes of the brain and central nervous system.

As you move through different states of consciousness you may find yourself presented with moments of insight and emotion which can shed light on your current health issues.

We have over 27 years of experience practicing CST. Our primary studies were through the Upledger Institute. We find CST to be one of the most effective and gentle methods of treatment available today.

 75 minutes – $140.00

Plan on 90 minutes for your initial session which includes completion of a brief health questionnaire. It’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing. I suggest having plenty of water prior to your session to facilitate the effects of the treatment.

For a craniosacral therapy appointment, you may call, email, or schedule online. If you have a complex medical situation or injury or are experiencing long-standing pain of unknown origin, please contact us first before scheduling a session.
